1. What This Policy Covers

This policy describes how NamBiz uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on the public website and application.

Cookies are small data files stored in your browser. Some are required for login and core security.

2. Types of Cookies and Storage

NamBiz provides a cookie manager with three levels: Allow All, Minimal, and No Cookies.

Optional analytics and attribution storage are only active when Allow All is selected.

  • Essential: required for authentication and security
  • Functional: remembers UX preferences such as theme
  • Analytics: optional website usage measurement
  • Marketing: currently not enabled by default

3. Current Keys Used

The following keys are currently used by the platform baseline:

  • Cookie: nbz_session_id (HTTP-only session authentication token)
  • Cookie: nb_cookie_consent (stores your choice for Allow All or Minimal levels)
  • Cookie: nb_attribution (campaign attribution, only when Allow All is enabled)
  • Cookie: nb_exp_hero_cta_v1 (A/B test assignment for hero CTA, only when Allow All is enabled)
  • Cookie: nb-public-persona (public-site audience preference, functional level)
  • Cookie: nb-public-loader-seen (public-site loader preference, functional level)
  • Local storage: nambiz-theme (light/dark theme preference)
  • Local storage: nb_exp_hero_cta_v1 (A/B test assignment cache, only when Allow All is enabled)

4. Managing Cookies

You can manage or remove cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login and secure product use.

You can also update your choice at any time using the Cookie Manager button on the public website.

If you choose No Cookies, we do not store your consent preference and you will be asked again on your next visit.

Theme and persona preferences can be reset by clearing site storage in browser settings.

5. Legal and Compliance Context

NamBiz applies cookie controls in line with applicable Namibian legal principles, constitutional privacy protections, and evolving digital regulation.

When we introduce additional analytics or advertising cookies, this policy will be updated before rollout.
